HTC One M9 – Worth the Purchase?

As you may have known we were massive fans of the HTC One M8 and our excitement continues with more rumours and images of the HTC One M9. HTC have been releasing great smartphones with some of the industry best design features recently so we except to see them keep up the standard. Named ‘HTC One M9 Hima’ or just ‘M9’ we give you our opinions and tell you if it’s worth the purchase!

HTC One M9 Hima

This week we saw the unveiling of the HTC One M9, with pressure added from its predecessor … The mobile handset of 2014 – the M8. Following similar design features the M9 has a 5 inch screen and HTC’s statement super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen. This small body handset has taken the 1080 x 1920 pixel screen from the M8 and metal body in their famous gunmetal grey.

Camera

Now the HTC One M9 may only have a 4 megapixel front camera but sports a 20.7 megapixel rear camera with a sapphire glass lens. The M9 comes with the standard automatic simultaneous video and camera recording, geo-tagging, face detection and panorama. The camera on the M9 can mimic the human eye to give similar effects of a Duo Camera without the need of a second.

Body

HTC have recently been prized on their mobile design and body, we can see that HTC have brought some features over to the M9. Unlike the M8 the M9 is more sharply-edged similar to the HTC statement handset; the One. Taking colour templates from the iPhone 6, the M9 is available in Gold on Gold, Gold on Silver and gunmetal grey.

Best Feature

Our favourite feature on the HTC One M9 is the speakers, if you love blaring the latest hits from your mobile this is the handset for you. Worth the Purchase?

If you are a lover of HTC then you will not be disappointed with the M9, however we feel that this is the not the best handset from HTC. So we award it 3 out of 5.
